The Ministry of the Word

1. The word of God brings transformation. 

(2 Corinthians 3:18 & Romans 12:2).

– You have to continually engage in God’s word for you to be transformed.

2. The word of God carries the voice of God.

(Proverbs 6:22, Ephesians 5:26, Psalms 29:3 & Deuteronomy 11:18) .

– Behind every scripture there’s God’s voice.

3. The word of God is the most reliable GPS in the journey of your life. (Psalm 119:105; 23:1).

4. The word of God is the sword of the spirit that never returns defeated from the battle. (Ephesians 6:12 & 17 & Revelation 19:21).

– Spiritual battle requires spiritual weapons.

5. The word of God sanctifies.

– The word helps us to have clean interactions with other people. (John 17:17; 15:3-10, Psalm 24:3-4 & James 1:21)

6. The word of God carries the power of God. (Ecclesiastes 8:4 & Luke 24:32)

7. Your words carry energy.

– He who restrains his lips is wise.

(Joshua 6:10, Luke 4:10, Proverbs 10:19 & 2 Kings 4:29)

8. The word of God has creative power.

(Genesis 1:3-31)

– The word of God is in 2 formats;

a) The logos

b) The Rhema – This is the word that carries creative power.

(Genesis 1:3-31) (Ezekiel 37:1-7)

Rhema is birthed by Logos.

– The power of God is embodied in the Rhema.
